Sharecase Child Safety Standards

Sharecase, Inc. is committed to protecting children and young people on our platform. Sharecase serves students ages 13-22. We do not permit users under the age of 13. We strictly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material and behavior of any kind. Any account, content, or behavior involving CSAE is subject to immediate removal and reporting to appropriate authorities.

• Under-13 users are not permitted. Age gating is enforced at signup and there is no path for a user under 13 to create or maintain an account.
• Minor accounts (13-17) operate under minor-tier privacy defaults, including restricted discoverability and stricter default privacy settings.
• Adult-to-minor messaging is restricted. Adult accounts cannot initiate direct messages to minors outside of an established, mutual connection.
• All content and interactions are subject to our Community Guidelines and to platform moderation.
• Automated content scanning runs across posts and articles to flag potentially violating content for human review.
• In-product reporting is available on every post, article, message, profile, and account.

• Any user can report content or an account from directly within the Sharecase app.
• Reports are triaged and reviewed by our internal moderation team.
• Violating content is removed and offending accounts are suspended or terminated.
• We report suspected CSAE material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, in compliance with US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
• We cooperate with law enforcement investigations related to child safety.
