Delete Your Sharecase Account

Sharecase, Inc. lets you permanently delete your Sharecase account and associated data at any time.

1. From inside the Sharecase app

Open Sharecase → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts. Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

2. By email

Email operations@sharecase.app from the email address associated with your Sharecase account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What data is deleted

What data may be retained (and for how long)

Account and profile (name, email, date of birth, profile photo, bio)
Posts, articles, endorsements, and Highlights
Direct messages you have sent
Connections (My Circle, followers, following)
Uploaded photos, videos, and files
Notification history and in-app preferences

What data may be retained (and for how long)

Minimal transaction and audit records required for legal, security, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes — retained only as long as required by applicable law (typically no more than 7 years), then permanently deleted.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
